2nd Annual Mercer County Professional Learning Conference - October 8, 2018

All educators in Mercer County will be learning together on October 8th at Parkway Local Schools. This year the conference will feature a keynote address from Ian Byrd. https://www.byrdseed.com/

Ian’s keynote address will be: Cultivating Curious Kids – A fun dive into curiosity including what causes curiosity, how it affects the brain, why it’s so powerful for learning, and how we can increase curiosity in classrooms. In addition to the keynote, he will be available for breakout sessions and work with smaller groups of teachers throughout the day.

We are also very excited to have Google Apps for Educators Guru- Eric Curts https://www.controlaltachieve.com/p/services.html joining us for breakout sessions. He will be leading an afternoon session dedicated to technology coordinators and technology integration specialists.

This conference is not possible without the outstanding professional participation of our very own Mercer County Educators! There will be over 30 learning sessions lead by local teachers.

The day will culminate with opportunities for grade level and content specific collaboration.
