The MCESC Board of Education has a vacancy due to the resignation of long time board member, Vicki Smith. Vicki has moved outside Mercer County so she is unable to finish her term. Her resignation was announced at the September meeting. The board is seeking qualified candidates to fill this vacancy. Interested candidates should submit a notice of their interest, in writing, to Superintendent Shelly Vaughn no later than Monday, October 12.
