2020-2021 Temporary Substitute Teacher

 Due to the recent passage of House Bill 409, for the 20-21 school year ONLY, a bachelor's degree is not required to serve as a substitute teacher. If you are interested in acquiring this Temporary Substitute License please use the following link to fill out the questionnaire. If you meet the requirements you will be contacted by the Mercer County ESC to schedule an appointment to complete the application process.

  3. Acquire a temporary substitute license from the Ohio Department of Education

Substitute Teachers

The Mercer County Educational Service Center is in need of substitute teachers.  Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (does not need to be in education).  If interested, please print and fill out the Substitute Teacher Application Packet.

Substitute Aides

Substitute aides are needed in Mercer County Educational Service Center classrooms for children (Kindergarten through age 22) with Multiple Disabilities, our center-based preschool classrooms, and at the Community Learning Center.  Our Multiple Disabilities and center-based preschool classrooms are located in Celina, Coldwater, Fort Recovery, Marion Local, Parkway, and St. Henry school districts and the Community Learning Center is located at Cheryl Ann.
