Technology Instructor and Coach

Mercer County ESC is seeking an innovative teacher leader who is a creative thinker for a new position as a Technology Instructor and Coach.  Instruction and coaching will take place at Versailles Exempted Village Schools.

The Technology Instructor and Coach will develop, collaborate, plan and implement a makerspace curriculum for grades k-4.  As a coach, collaborate and grow teachers' knowledge and experience with effective use of technology in the classroom.

Instructional Coach

Are you a teacher leader looking for an opportunity to have a broad impact on high quality teaching and learning? We're looking for experienced educators that are interested in a new challenge as an instructional coach.  We will be hiring 2-3 coaches to work in a variety of school districts who contract services with Mercer County ESC.
Instructional coaches help educators work on classroom challenges with curriculum, instruction and technology strategies.  Coaches will engage in the delivery of professional development, including observing teachers, coaching and modeling, and providing feedback.

Part-time Speech Language Pathologist

The Mercer County ESC is in need of a part-time Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP).  The SLP should be dedicated to supporting the MCESC mission of providing high quality cooperative services that positively impact the diverse educational needs of students, staff, and community.  The SLP should also believe all students are valued, can learn and grow, and will become successful and independent adults.  

Essential job duties include ability to provide high quality direct speech-language therapy services to a wide variety of students in both classroom and therapy room settings; ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work, communicate, and collaborate effectively with staff and families as part of a team.  Knowledge/experience with students with multiple disabilities and augmentative communication is a plus.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:
• Master’s Degree in Speech & Language Pathology from an accredited university
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred
• Valid Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology Speech Language Pathology License or Conditional License
• Valid Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License/Registration

The Mercer County Educational Service Center is in need of substitute teachers.  Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (does not need to be in education).  If interested, please print and fill out the Substitute Teacher Application Packet.

Substitute Aides

Substitute aides are needed in Mercer County Educational Service Center classrooms for children (Kindergarten through age 22) with Multiple Disabilities, our center-based preschool classrooms, and at the Community Learning Center.  Our Multiple Disabilities and center-based preschool classrooms are located in Celina, Coldwater, Fort Recovery, Marion Local, Parkway, and St. Henry school districts and the Community Learning Center is located at Cheryl Ann.
