WHAT: A summer camp learning experience for children.
WHY: Young children learn best when they become involved in their learning. A different thematic unit will be explored each summer. Themes that have been offered are:
Trip to Japan
Candlesticks, Cornered Hats, and Colonists - a Study of Colonial America
In the Rainforest
WHO: Children are eligible to attend who have just completed kindergarten, first grade, or second grade. Children from neighboring counties also have been welcomed to the program.
